Overview

Design lead and manager overseeing three multi-disciplinary teams of designers, engineers, product managers and insights. At Spotify we work in a trio model consisting of design, engineering and product management ensuring that each role has an equal seat at the table. The designers that I manage work on all of the Spotify products in a car and on a wearable device. I work closely with product, engineering, research and stakeholders to set the strategy, vision and roadmap for the teams. I facilitate design sprints and workshops to help the team align on projects and products. I have regular meetings with my designers to provide feedback, support, and oversee their designs while allowing them to work autonomously on their day-to-day. I represent design at executive reviews and steering committee meetings.
